Welfare Benefits

We have several time-limited funded projects providing Welfare Benefits Advice, we also run a welfare benefits telephone advice line every Wednesday from 1-3pm.

Families Through Crisis Project

Delivering Welfare Benefits Advice and support to Families in Newcastle.  If you are a parent of a child under 18 then you may be eligible for free advice.  The project is Lottery funded and delivered in partnership with Changing Lives and Advocacy Centre (North).  We deliver Family drop in sessions at:

  • •Riverside Community Health (Mondays 11am-2pm)
  • •West End Women and Girls (Wednesdays 9am-11am)
  • •St Martins Centre (Thursdays 10am -1pm)

Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group Innovation Fund

You can get help with welfare benefits advice if you are a patient of one of the following GP practices:

Welfare Benefits Appeals and representation projects

We are funded by several trusts including Community Foundation & Barbour Trust to provide welfare benefits advice and support for clients living in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.
